Purpose of Position:
To share with other staff in meeting the personal care needs of clients in a way that maintains and respects their dignity and promotes their independence. Care provided by care assistants is expected to include care that would reasonably be given by members of the client's family. Our care does not include tasks expected to be undertaken by a trained nurse.
Principal Responsibilities:
To assist our clients who need help with getting up in the morning, dressing, undressing, washing, showering, bathing, oral hygiene and the toilet
To help clients with mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including incontinence and help in use and care of aids and personal equipment
To care for clients who are temporarily sick and needing

To be aware and work within the health and safety framework, policies, procedures, guidelines and legislation to include fire drills

During the Dental Nurse Apprenticeship, you will receive ongoing support, development and training to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to qualify and have a successful career in dental nursing.
Your daily activities could include:
Assisting the dentist in providing safe and effective treatments to patients, from simple check-ups to advanced specialist treatments
Providing patients with a high level of care
Setting up and cleaning surgery
Sterilising instruments
Updating patient records
Maintaining equipment
Preparing instruments and materials for various treatments
Adhering to practice policies and procedures
During your working day, the dental practice will support you with learning the practical skills required, whilst your training provider (Aspiration Training) will teach you the theory side.
Your study will be based online with regular teaching and 1-2-1 sessions.

Assisting with the stripping, inspection, cleaning + preparation of historic engines, gearboxes and axle assemblies
You will be taught about history and development of vehicles, components, materials, and turn around the most complex restoration projects in a timely manner while still retaining the GTO hallmark of quality
Also includes Technical Drawing, welding, business studies and advanced diagnostics
Training:Qualification: The ‘HET Level 3 Apprenticeship’ is a nationally recognised qualification delivered by ‘HSA’ from its Mechanical Academy based at ‘Bicester Motion’ in Oxfordshire. Delivered over 36 months on a block release basis, you will attend your academy on average every 5 weeks for a 5-day block of training running from Monday to Friday, the remaining 80% of the time you will be working with your employer.
