As a Policy Coverage Lawyer, you will:
Review and report on new matters.
Conduct legal investigations and review evidence.
Draft legal documents and correspondence.
Instruct counsel and experts.
Handle disclosure, pre-action and interim applications.
Engage in settlement negotiations, including Part 36 offers.
Prepare for and attend court trials and ADR, including mediation.
Provide support on training and seminar delivery for clients.
Maintain compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations.
The Ideal candidate will have:
Experience in defendant insurance litigation, ideally in recoveries.
Knowledge of household and commercial recovery claims.
Excellent case management and organisation skills.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritise complex caseloads.
Strong communication and client relationship abilities.
Confidence to contribute to client seminars and workshops.
