THE ROLE:
Monitor and interpret European regulations and guidelines relevant to products.

Advising logistics team on compliance with dangerous goods legislation for transportation of goods.

The Process Engineer will manage and commercialize new processes developed by the Research and Development department into full scale production within the Tremco Corsicana plant. The Process Engineer will determine which equipment in the plant is most suited to make new products and what modifications may be necessary for such production to successfully occur. Over the next two years, the Tremco Corsicana facility will design, construct, and commission a new reactor. This new major plant expansion will introduce new production capabilities to the Corsicana facility and is expected to serve as a model project for further plant modernization efforts. The employee filling this role will lead this expansion project all the way through the commissioning and scaleup phases. In addition to supporting new products and plant expansions, this individual will also manage and optimize existing processes throughout the plant with the goals of maximizing yield and minimizing batch cycle times. SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES: Safety The Process Engineer will actively participate in process safety reviews, and process hazards analysis as the technical representative. Must understand the hazards of the raw materials, processes, and products in order to develop a safe manufacturing process. Complex product development experience of thermal design and equipment selection using Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
Intelligent, logical approach to problem solving.
Degree, Masters or higher qualification in Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
You will own the overall engine system architecture, analysis and documentation including FMECAs, radiation, reliability, mechanical, thermal, fluidic, electromagnetic, Design, Development and Verification Plan, Design Justification Document, Software Requirements Specification, Engine Test Plan etc. Working closely with the Project Manager to help plan and organise resources.

Support propulsion engine build, assembly and test development including route card build sequences and system assembly, integration, Manufacturing and Inspection Flow Charts.

Coordinate of top level Design, Verification and Compliance Matrix.

The Fugro Marine Environmental team within the Marine Site Characterisation business line is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Marine Environmental Scientist with a focus on benthic habitats, to join the reporting team based in either our Portchester office or Edinburgh’s Heriot Watt University campus on a fixed term contract.
The Marine Environmental team specialises in worldwide environmental site characterisation and environmental monitoring. The data we collect enables our clients and regulatory organisations to fully understand the effects of developments and activities in the coastal and marine environment.
This is a pivotal role which will include training and mentoring a team of Environmental Scientists, analysing seafloor photographic data collected using AUVs, ROVs and drop-down video, quality control of seafloor photographic data analysis, providing technical input into innovation projects, analysing multi parameters datasets including photographic data, macrofauna data and physico chemical data, producing and quality control of high quality technical reports.
Your key responsibilities will include ensuring work is of the highest standard and quality, training and appraisals, preparation of environmental technical reports utilising mapping software, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
You will ensure all activities are carried out to company specific standards and are in line with our QHSSE policies.
