KHR is working with a leading manufacturer to recruit a Quality & Chemical Compliance Specialist to support quality control, process chemistry, manufacturing, chemical management, water/effluent treatment, and environmental compliance across its manufacturing site.
You will play an important role in maintaining quality, monitoring/controlling process chemistry and biocide programs, internal audits, managing chemicals, COSHH requirements, and supporting water/effluent treatment. You will also contribute to hygiene standards, GMP requirements and compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, MCERTS and BS EN 15593, while identifying opportunities to improve process efficiency, reduce costs and maintain safe, compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor chemical processes and treatment programmes, ensuring they meet operational and quality requirements while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Monitor chemical stocks and usage, maintain accurate records and coordinate replenishment.
- Carry out routine quality control checks and ensure testing equipment is maintained, calibrated and fit for purpose.
- Undertake sampling, testing and analysis to support water treatment and effluent management.
- Maintain chemical safety documentation, COSHH assessments and relevant quality and hygiene records.
- Work with production teams and external suppliers to improve process performance, chemical efficiency and cost control.
- Support compliance with quality management systems, environmental standards and site procedures.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across quality, chemical management and operational processes.
- Provide technical support and deputise for the Manufacturing Development Manager when required.
- Participate in an on-call rota and attend meetings or projects away from site when necessary, occasionally involving overnight stays.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in manufacturing, quality control, process technology, laboratory testing or a similar technical environment.
- Knowledge of chemical processes, chemical handling, process monitoring or chemical management.
- An understanding of quality control, testing procedures and quality management systems, including ISO 9001.
- Familiarity with COSHH requirements and safe chemical handling practices.
- The ability to carry out testing, interpret results and investigate issues methodically.
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage chemical stocks, maintain accurate records and coordinate routine activities.
- An understanding of water treatment, effluent management or environmental compliance would be advantageous but not essential.
- Experience with ISO 14001, MCERTS, BS EN 15593, GMP or internal auditing would be beneficial.
- A willingness to participate in an on-call rota and attend meetings or projects away from site when necessary, occasionally involving overnight stays.

SALARY: $24.48 per hour. This position is eligible for a minimum weekly compensation of $1,346.15, equivalent to $70,000 annually
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all dispenser equipment in the field.
Ability to visit and evaluate a plant to order the proper dispenser equipment needed to do the job right (such as conduit for electrical, hose lengths, position of dispenser, etc.)
Install the dispenser equipment and help assist the customer in matching our dispenser to their plant (such as counts, added products, etc.). When the install is complete tech is responsible to clean up any mess that was created during the visit.
Will be responsible to pick up any equipment in the field that needs to be removed, and returned to a Euclid facility. Responsible to wash out any tanks immediately upon being returned at the Euclid Chemical plant with the guidance of the plant manager on the waste product.
Willingness and ability to restore any used equipment that can be reused.
Will be required to do paperwork (such as DOT Certifications, Expense Reports, Daily or Weekly Reports, etc.) The DOT Certifications will be done professionally on Euclid Letterhead and handed to the customer.
May be asked to transfer safe amounts of material from location to location (such as raw materials for concrete testing, admixture, fiber, etc.).
Required to order equipment and install that equipment at the designated customer location and maintain that equipment after installation.
Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment when needed.
Assist in state inspections where necessary.
Respond to customer issues with those dispensers when needed.
Assure that their truck is properly equipped with the necessary parts to fix or repair the equipment.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Travel: Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays when required.
Flexibility: A flexible schedule, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends, depending on customer needs.
Work Ethic: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
