Customer Care:
Proactively respond to expressions of dis- satisfaction at the initial stage.
Investigate, register all complaints and report in accordance with company and client procedures.

About the Role

Calibration Lab:
Performing maintenance, repairs, and testing on various calibration equipment as per customer requirements, as well as for internal engineers, for scheduled field-based jobs.
Calibration of temperature, level, flow, electrical and pressure equipment.
Calibrating equipment in line with UKAS standards, ensuring calibration equipment is safe, compliant, and certified against national and internationally recognised standards under the supervision of the Lab and Accreditation Manager.
Panel Lab:
Design and code Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to automate processes according to customer specifications.
Build and assemble automated systems based on design plans.
Perform validation and testing of control panels and associated equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications.
Create detailed electrical and mechanical schematic drawings using CAD software.
Field Based:
Shadow and as appropriate assist field-based engineers with calibration service jobs at customer sites to ensure systems operate correctly.

Weekly Tasks:
You will be given training and guidance to act as an advocate for Quality Practice and Governance across the organisation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and deliver effective quality systems and conduct internal meetings to review and report on quality performance
Gather, analyse, and interpret quality performance data and carry out audits and inspections across products, processes, and systems
Support stakeholder visits, including customers, suppliers, and certification bodies and promote continuous improvement initiatives within the business and support and develop individuals within and outside of the Quality function
Investigating quality issues within production and warehousing and issues raised by customers
Auditing of management systems, product quality, safety, environment, and energy
Investigating accidents, near misses and hazards
Developing Standard Operation Procedures for Quality related tasks
Developing and communicating Quality Alerts where issues have been identified
Understanding ISO management systems
Training in Business Improvement Techniques, Quality, Health and Safety and Environment
Training:
This is a level 4 Quality Practitioner apprenticeship delivered over a period of 21-months
The apprentice would be required to attend the training centre for a one-week block, followed by 7 x 1 day per week workshops at the training centre and attending meetings with an assessor, at the company, one day per month
The training provider is In-Comm Training Services. You will attend the Aldridge WS9 8UG site
