Responsibilities:
Working with Splits,Dx units ,VRVs, VRFS, Ahus and Chillers
Faulting finding, repairs, servicing and installation works
Ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations
Responding promptly to emergency call-outs and carrying out repairs as necessary
Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies
Essential Qualifications / Experience (All of the following will be considered):
FGAS / NVQ Level 2 refrigeration and air conditioning

Your new role
Southend City Council are looking to appoint a full-time, permanent YOS Officer.
To ensure that the Council provides a first class professional service within the Youth Justice Service (YJS) by working for a needs-led service to children, young people and their families in order to prevent offending and re-offending. You will be required to regularly write assessments and/or reports on young people and their families for court, panels and professional meetings.
The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to engage young people and their families whilst they are on a court order. Ensure adherence to YJB policies and practices including performance indicators and national standards, ensuring timeliness of assessment and reviews. Adhere to corporate and departmental policies and practices including providing all data as and when required. You will manage highly complex cases that pose significant risk to others in the community. This could include young people involved in harmful sexual behaviour, gangs/County Lines [serious youth violence].
Within this position, hybrid working opportunities are available. However, you are required to be on site at the Civic Centre a minimum of 2 days a week.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you must be able to work in the UK.

As a Chef apprentice, you will...
Prepare, cook and present food which meets specs and customer expectations
Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help to guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors
Communicate clearly with your team in order to provide high-quality meals to customers on time
Keep up to date with new products, menus and promotions
What your apprenticeship includes
A mixture of face-to-face and Skype/phone catch-ups every 4 - 6 weeks to discuss feedback and progress
A mixture of on and off-the-job training, including workshops and webinars
Reviews every 12 weeks with your Line Manager and apprenticeship Trainer
The chance to get Functional Skills in English and maths (if you don't already have GCSE)
A Chef Apprenticeship Qualification once you have completed the 15 month programme
Attend 4 masterclasses to further develop your Chef skills
