Workshop / Installation's SupervisorThe successful candidate: -
BTEC or City and Guilds electrical qualification or recognised apprenticeship/training body & 5 years’ experienceBe passionate about your role & have an eye for detail.Must be able to read electrical schematics.Previous experience in a supervisory / team leader role.Previous experience of the following activities;
o Control panel building.o General controls installationso Understanding of control panel componentso Understanding of field devices, sensors / switcheso Pneumatic systems (basic)Be a great communicator who can interface between the workshop and the office.Have a calm nature and methodical approach to help to work easy under pressure.A natural problem solverMust have sufficient computer skills, Microsoft office.
The workshop / installation supervisor will be responsible for a team of approximately 10 technicians and will oversee the assembly / installation of electrical & pneumatic systemsRole and ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for job allocation to a team of technicians.

Be responsible for job allocation to a team of techniciansOversee the assembly and wiring of electrical and pneumatic control systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.Prioritize work to meet demands of the business.Assist the maintenance manager on internal electrical issues / upgrade projects.Manage health and safety, near miss reporting to the allocated area. Carry out relevant QC checks to finished goods. Ensure that the correct workshop / company procedures are being carried out.Keep an organized workshop, ensuring stock levels of consumable items is sufficient.Ensure that a clean / tidy working environment is maintained.Train and instruct technicians to develop skills.
