Full Time (36 hours per week)Based in Barnsley – Hybrid WorkingBarnsley Council are looking for two IAG advisors/employment coaches who can provide support to local unemployed, economically inactive and in work residents and help them progress towards a positive destination (employment, education, training or volunteering). The role will be to support the UKSPF funded Employment and Skills Project- South Yorkshire, hence their will be a requirement to complete registration paper work with each resident and produce a SMART action plan which helps them to address their barriers to progression. Ongoing support with residents will be required, with the CRM database being updated with regular meeting information and evidence of their achievements.The role will require advisors to work out within the local area, as well as in Wellington House (central Barnsley location), so advisors will need to be able to travel across the area. Some administrative tasks may be completed at home but it is envisaged that applicants will work flexibly to meet the needs of the resident as well as the business. Knowledge and experience of services available to support residents in the Barnsley area is required, so there is an expectation that applicants will be familiar with the local area, and the main barriers that affect the community.Requirements: Applicants must have a minimum Level 3 IAG qualification, or a minimum 2 years experience of working in a employment focused role. The role involves the use of a web based CRM system so all applicants must be able to use IT. The Role of the Multi Skilled Operative
As the Multi Skilled Operative you’ll be joining a team of 15 Operatives at the companies Manchester Asphalt Plant.
A busy plant, the Manchester site has 3 fitters and a rail discharge which see’s in 7 deliveries a week.
The role of Multi Skilled Operative will see you carry out the operation of the Weighbridge, Loading shovel, Rail Discharge and Mixing of Asphalt.
You’ll work closely with your fellow Multi Skilled Operatives to ensure all duties are covered whilst maintaining the high standard of health and safety.
You’ll work closely with every member of staff at the Manchester Asphalt Plant to ensure the timely production of Asphalt for customers.
This role is working on a shift basis of: Early one week and late the next. The Early shift is: 5:30am- 1:30pm, Late is: 8am- 4:45pm Monday to Friday. Saturdays 6am-2pm or Sunday 7am-12pm. Weekends will be rotational, and you’ll know in advance what shift you’re working. Nights are additional when required for a customer.
As the Multi Skilled Operative you may be required to work nights on customer request.

Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic Social Work Assistant to work in statutory area fieldwork and children with disability teams. The successful candidate will work alongside Social Workers to provide advice and practical support to children and young people who are deemed “in need” under the Children Act 1989 or identified as in need of support.
The Social Work Assistant will facilitate support groups, be part of the duty rota, and will be involved in assessing and working directly with families needing support, offering parenting advice and guidance, and signposting families to other services where appropriate. They will promote the educational, training, employment opportunities, and social skills of young people and enable them to build these skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a social care setting or similar environment with vulnerable children and families and will have experience of completing chronologies, life story books, and contact plans. They will have experience of establishing links within local communities to ensure that effective responses to children and young people’s needs are maximised.
The Social Work Assistant will have experience of working with children, young people, and families at times of change in their lives and responding appropriately, so they will need a high level of communication skills both verbally and written, as well as an ability to identify risks. They will be skilled at resolving conflicts that can occur in multi-agency working and have experience of seeking the best outcomes for children and young people and their families.

The role
Fugro are now seeking an Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Consulting Specialist to join the Europe and Africa Geoconsulting team based in either Wallingford, Oxfordshire, Louvaine-la-Neuve, Belgium or Nootdorp, Netherlands. Reporting to the Department Head for Geophysics Geoconsulting, your responsibilities will be two-fold; to coordinate regional screening studies as to the UXO risk levels for offshore wind installations, advising on UXO risk mitigation measures and secondly to define optimal technical solution in terms of UXO survey for marine sites, where UXO is identified as a risk, this will include working with many internal stakeholders and external clients to agree the best technical campaigns.
Who we’re looking for:
A degree or MSc in History, Archaeology, Explosive Engineering, Earth Sciences or Geotechnical Engineering.
Previous experience as a UXO Consultant is essential.
Chartership or actively pursuing chartership through appropriate professional institutions to support ALARP assessment.
Willingness to travel overseas.
Excellent verbal and written English language skills.

Essential Skills/Experience:
Associate or Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (or equivalent recognised actuarial qualification) or currently studying towards this with relevant pensions experience. Scheme Actuary certificate not required.

Have a good understanding of the legislative and regulatory framework for UK pension schemes
Be able to undertake the actuarial calculations required
