This position is:
* Initial 6 month contract
* Rota pattern of 3 on 3 off
* Shifts are 6am - 2pm or 2pm - 10pm
We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to work in the community across the Doncaster area as part of the Home Emergency Alarm Response Team.
These roles are within the Home Alarm service which allows individuals to remain living independently in their own home by providing telecare equipment to enable them to summon help in the event of a fall or emergency. You will be required to respond to these call outs and assist where required. The service runs over 7 days per week and you will be assigned a rota pattern for 3 on 3 off on 6am - 2pm OR 2pm - 10pm shifts.
You will need:
Full UK driving license
Previous experience within care/ support
Up to date moving and handling training
This role is for an initial period of 6 months, with the possibility of extension after that.

The Role of the Multi Skilled Operative
As the Multi Skilled Operative you’ll be joining a team of 15 Operatives at the companies Manchester Asphalt Plant.
A busy plant, the Manchester site has 3 fitters and a rail discharge which see’s in 7 deliveries a week.
The role of Multi Skilled Operative will see you carry out the operation of the Weighbridge, Loading shovel, Rail Discharge and Mixing of Asphalt.
You’ll work closely with your fellow Multi Skilled Operatives to ensure all duties are covered whilst maintaining the high standard of health and safety.
You’ll work closely with every member of staff at the Manchester Asphalt Plant to ensure the timely production of Asphalt for customers.

Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic Social Work Assistant to work in statutory area fieldwork and children with disability teams. The successful candidate will work alongside Social Workers to provide advice and practical support to children and young people who are deemed “in need” under the Children Act 1989 or identified as in need of support.
The Social Work Assistant will facilitate support groups, be part of the duty rota, and will be involved in assessing and working directly with families needing support, offering parenting advice and guidance, and signposting families to other services where appropriate. They will promote the educational, training, employment opportunities, and social skills of young people and enable them to build these skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a social care setting or similar environment with vulnerable children and families and will have experience of completing chronologies, life story books, and contact plans. They will have experience of establishing links within local communities to ensure that effective responses to children and young people’s needs are maximised.
The Social Work Assistant will have experience of working with children, young people, and families at times of change in their lives and responding appropriately, so they will need a high level of communication skills both verbally and written, as well as an ability to identify risks. They will be skilled at resolving conflicts that can occur in multi-agency working and have experience of seeking the best outcomes for children and young people and their families.
Requirements

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Carry out needs led assessment of occupational performance with Clients who have a wide range of medical conditions and physical disabilities.
Acknowledge and analyse physiological, psychological and environmental factors to develop individual goal orientated action plans.Take into account the views of the person and their carer(s) to agree appropriate provision of equipment, minor and major adaptations or re-housing that is necessary to meet current and long-term needs whilst considering the legal framework, feasibility, practicality and resource implications of the proposed plan. Have particular responsibility for people with the most complex needs.Carry out holistic assessments and take action to reduce and manage risk to people in their homes advising them and their carer(s) on various aspects of safe independence or care.Work autonomously to manage own complex clinical caseload. Provide clinical advice to cases managed by other Occupational Therapists and Assessment Officers. Provide expert advice and intervention regarding complex manual handling situations. This may involve joint working with colleagues and providing advice/ training to care agency staff.Participate in triaging referrals to identify eligible need and priority.Promote the use of assisted technology, including Telecare to encourage independenceUndertake assessments and documentation associated with Blue Badge applications
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
Occupational Therapy qualification. DipCOT/Degree OTHCPC registrationPrevious experience in Social or Health Care setting, relating to services for disabled adults or children, including needs assessment, advocacy, counselling and other service provisionExperience of delivering OT assessment and intervention for Clients with complex needs.Knowledge of Health and Social Services provision for disabled adults or children. What You Will Be Doing
Review security logs and respond to security incidents and alerts in a timely manner.
Conduct security audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.
Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure the security of their systems and applications that provide service(s) to the business.
Educating employees on security best practices and provide security awareness training.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies.
Design and implement security solutions that align with the company's security policies, procedures, and standards.
Manage security infrastructure such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, data loss prevention and EDR systems.
Participate in an on-call roster.
Fully remote role with occasional travel to company locations if/when required.
Ability to work outside of regular business hours when required to support critical systems & infrastructure.
What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
Experience with compliance requirements such as PCI DSS, ISO 270001 and GDPR.
Experience with SIEM platforms such as ELK, Graylog or Splunk.
Experience with vulnerability scanners & management tools such as Qualys, Rapid7, Tenable or Taegis VDR.
Experience with EDR platforms such as CarbonBlack, Crowdstrike, SentinelOne or Defender for Endpoint (ATP).
Experience with NGFW solutions such as Fortigate or Palo Alto.
2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical staff.
Ability to complete complex tasks methodically, with an eye for detail.
Enthusiastic and passionate about IT.
Excellent organisation, task prioritisation and time management skills, with the ability to operate independently.
Experience with Atlassian JIRA, Bamboo and Confluence (desirable)
Experience with Juniper EX switches (desirable)
Knowledge of NDR & XDR solutions (desirable)
