Part of the role will be supporting Biomedical Scientists in achieving the IBMS Diploma in Expert Practice in Histological Dissection.The Department processes approximately 5,000 requests a year for primary and secondary care and visiting clinicians. Skin specimens are the largest group type followed by gastrointestinal, gynaecology, urological and breast specimens.
