Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with teachers, support staff and senior leaders to promote pupil achievement

Qualifications/Experience
Ideally a degree within education, however not essential
Experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

THE PERSON
Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant, Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, or similar finance role
Good working knowledge of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, bank reconciliations, and transactional finance
Some exposure to Month-End activities, journals, accruals, or prepayments would be advantageous, but is not essential
A genuine desire to develop into a Management Accountant and build a long-term career in finance
Microsoft Excel skills and experience using finance systems
Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our organisation as a Specialist Teaching Assistant Apprentice. This role sits within our classroom support team and plays a vital part in supporting pupils with additional needs to access learning and thrive within the school environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Premier line manager, class teachers, the SENCo and wider support staff to provide targeted support for pupils, either on a one-to-one basis or within small groups. As a Bookkeeper, you will manage day-to-day bookkeeping duties for a varied client portfolio, ensuring financial records are maintained accurately and key deadlines are consistently achieved.

You will be responsible for:
? Managing bookkeeping activities for a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors.
