We are recruiting for 3 vacancies. One to cover the North of England which will also require working in Scotland (Ayrshire area). The second will be covering Stevenage and surrounding areas. And the third, covering Sailsbury and Winchester areas. There will also be travel to Nottingham and other GAUK sites for training.
The apprenticeship begins with the Level 3 Gas Engineering programme, delivered over 18 months using a structured block-release model.
Apprentices attend the training academy for one week per month, where learning is delivered through a combination of classroom-based teaching and practical sessions in realistic training bays.
Academy delivery focuses on developing strong technical knowledge, safe working practices, and practical competence, led by experienced engineers with current industry knowledge.
Training is carefully sequenced, so core topics are introduced in the academy before being reinforced through workplace activity. Between academy weeks, apprentices continue their development on site with an experienced mentor, applying recently learnt knowledge in real working environments.
Mentors support apprentices to observe, practise, and reflect on tasks linked directly to their learning, allowing skills and understanding to be embedded over time. Apprentices also complete structured workplace activities and portfolio evidence to demonstrate ongoing progress.
This blended approach ensures learning is consistently reinforced through practical application, supporting steady progression towards occupational competence.

Safe working practices on site, including risk assessment and electrical isolation
Pipework including jointing methods, fittings, and system components
Combustion theory and burner operation

On-programme achievements:
Throughout the apprenticeship, apprentices complete a range of on-programme qualifications and technical achievements that are sequenced within the curriculum and aligned to workplace activity.
These include the Level 3 Diploma in Gas Engineering, Unvented Hot Water, Water Regulations, Safe Isolation, Wiring, Controls on S- and Y-Plan systems, and ultimately GasSafe registration.
These achievements are planned and sequenced, so knowledge and practical skills are developed progressively, reinforced through academy delivery and on-site mentoring. As Area Sales Manager Apprentice you will be supported by your Regional Sales Manager and based in the North East/Gloucester area (dependent on successful applicants' location). To support your apprenticeship, you’ll be studying for your Sales Executive Apprenticeship Level 4 through a reputable training provider.
As part of the role, you’ll be required to maintain existing one-off installers and grow business levels with them via a network of merchants, to achieve set targets for selling Baxi domestic solutions including gas boilers, ASHP’s, unvented cylinder ranges & domestic point of use Heatrae Sadia products.
The Area Sales Manager Apprentice would also be responsible for working with merchants in that area to sell the Baxi & Heatrae Sadia product range and pull through sales from the installers to the merchants. This will involve trade events, face to face booked appointments and telephone contact with both merchants and installers.
This role is vitally important to Baxi, we will be looking for a highly motivated individual who will work diligently using a journey plan, finding lucrative new business via the installer and merchant sectors.

Pre-test quality assurance of equipment built within Vertiv’s local factory
Working to a checklist and ensuring that everything on the checklist is compliant prior to releasing the equipment to the systems test part of the process
Final inspection of the equipment - Quality Assurance process (after successful test of the equipment). This involves cleaning the equipment, fitting all removable panels/covers, taking photographs, providing a user manual/installation instructions, collating all build, test and QA documentation and filing onto the system
The QA engineer also interacts with people from other functions to plan the quality delivery system for their area of responsibility. Individuals will also support and develop people within and outside the Quality Function.Training:Quality Practitioner Level 4.

The programme will develop your understanding of risk and opportunity management, including how to identify, assess and manage risks related to products, services, processes and supply chains. You will learn about the lifecycle of products and services, and the role quality plays throughout design, development, production, support and closure stages.
You will also gain knowledge of process design and improvement methods, including tools such as process mapping, SIPOC and Value Stream Mapping. In addition, you will learn how organisations plan, measure and monitor quality objectives and how auditing is used to assess compliance and drive improvement.
The apprenticeship will introduce you to business improvement approaches such as data analysis, root cause analysis and measurement systems analysis. You will also learn about organisational change, the drivers behind improvement initiatives and the importance of building a strong quality culture.
You will develop an understanding of the principles of quality management systems and the importance of maintaining professional development within the quality profession.
You will develop practical skills to support quality management activities. This includes the ability to identify and apply relevant legal, regulatory and industry requirements affecting the organisation.
You will develop strong communication skills to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders using appropriate verbal, written and visual methods. You will also learn how to gather, interpret and analyse quality-related data using tools such as Pareto analysis, statistical methods and trend analysis.
You will gain experience applying quality improvement tools and techniques to improve processes, products and services. This includes identifying risks and opportunities, supporting improvement actions and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
You will learn how to plan and conduct audits of systems, processes or products, as well as how to assess measurement systems and interpret technical or stakeholder requirements to support operational processes.
You will also develop your ability to identify gaps in performance, develop improvement plans and apply structured problem-solving techniques to address root causes and implement sustainable improvements. What will you do this year?In your role as a Building Maintenance Technician, your primary accountabilities will be to:
Support the Facilities & Maintenance Team led by the F&M Trades Manager, with specific WO inspections, minor repair tasks & project-based work as assigned on and throughout all the PNE Facilities on the PNE grounds.Support the F&M Trades Manager in the buildout of ALL site equipment and buildings in Limble.Carry out first call for WOs addressing minor repair and maintenance tasks and inspections to determine the nature of the repair so the decision to engage a red seal qualified technician can be made.Respond to and fix minor issues reported by occupants or identified during inspections.Support the teams in ensuring the building complies with all relevant safety codes and regulations and that all safety systems fire alarm sprinkler systems are fully operational.Oversee the pest control and other facility-based service contracts, inspecting for compliance.Assist with work set-up, completing projects and maintaining a safe clean work site.Operate vehicles and tools/equipment in compliance with all health and safety requirements as determined by WorkSafeBC, and all other applicable legislation and company policies.Operate mobile equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts, zoom booms) safely and responsibly.Completion of daily timesheets including compliance with Time-off request policy.Perform related duties as assigned when required or requested by the Maintenance Manager
