Purpose of the Role To support the delivery of electrical installations, maintenance and reactive works across a diverse range of domestic, commercial and industrial environments. The apprentice will work under the supervision of qualified electricians while developing the practical skills and knowledge required to achieve their apprenticeship qualification.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with electrical installations on domestic, commercial and industrial projects.
Support electricians with first fix, second fix and final commissioning activities.
Install containment systems including tray, trunking, conduit, basket and cable ladder.
Assist with the installation of lighting, power, distribution equipment, emergency lighting and fire alarm systems where required.
Support the installation of data cabling and associated infrastructure when required.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance works.
Attend emergency and reactive call-outs alongside qualified engineers.
Assist with fault finding and repairs under supervision.
Learn to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
Prepare materials, tools and equipment required for daily work activities.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Complete work to current BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and company quality standards.
Accurately complete job sheets, timesheets and other company documentation.
Communicate professionally with customers, site managers and colleagues.
Attend college and successfully complete all apprenticeship coursework and assessments.
Participate in toolbox talks, training sessions and continuous professional development.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Production Supervisor supervises staff involved in the daily manufacturing and shipment of chemicals to meet production and order schedules and quality requirements.

The Role
Are you an organised, confident person who is good at keeping customers, drivers and operational teams moving in the same direction?
We are recruiting for a Transport Planner / Dispatch Coordinator to join a busy construction materials operation in West London.
This isn't simply an administration position. You'll sit at the centre of the operation, taking customer orders, planning and scheduling deliveries, coordinating with internal teams and drivers and making sure the right products get to the right place at the right time.
Previous experience within ready-mix concrete, aggregates, construction materials, transport or logistics would be advantageous, but we're also interested in people with strong transferable experience who can learn the industry.
Full training on the company's systems and processes can be provided.

Taking and processing customer orders accurately
Planning and scheduling deliveries throughout the working day
