The apprentice would work alongside experienced engineers and technical staff to support the manufacture, assembly, installation, servicing and maintenance of RFID-enabled inventory and vending technologies. The role would involve both workshop-based and customer site-based activities.Training:Year 1:In the first year, you will develop foundation-level knowledge and skills, completing an introductory training programme at NC Group's training academy. You will cover essential mechanical, electrical, and engineering fundamentals.
Years 2–4:You will be based at Tbox, gaining hands-on experience while continuing to attend NC Group on a day release basis to develop your knowledge and skills in mechatronics engineering. You will work towards the achievement of the Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering qualification. Training Outcome:Full time role as a Mechatronics maintenance technician.
Possibility to progress to higher learning via HNC programmes and potential long-term progression into Lead Maintenance roles.
