As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining high-speed production and packaging lines, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient site operations. Key duties include planned and reactive maintenance of automated bakery equipment, minimising downtime during breakdowns, supporting preventative maintenance programmes, and collaborating with production and hygiene teams to maintain performance and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have:
Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-skilled Engineering
Experience in a food, FMCG, or manufacturing environment
Skilled in both electrical and mechanical fault-finding

Strong understanding of safety, hygiene, and quality standards in production
Desirable Skills:
Hands-on experience with a range of bakery machinery (mixers, ovens, freezers, flow wrappers, etc.)
