Pursue a 20-month Data Protection and Information Governance Practitioner Level 4 apprenticeship scheme.
You will dedicate approximately six hours per week to off-the-job learning.
Undertaking training and personal development to upskill in data protection and Information Governance apprenticeship materials and other available resources.
Access mentoring and coaching from experienced professionals within the team and external.
Participate in workshops and e-learning on data protection, cyber security and information governance.
Assist with managing data subject access requests and other rights under UK Data Protection Legislation.
Support the maintenance of records of processing activities and data sharing agreements.
Help monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Contribute to privacy impact assessments and risk reviews.
Participate in projects to improve information governance processes and tools.
Training:The training will be virtual; you will have monthly catch ups with the training provider. Will have monthly one to one with your tutor Regular sessions with the information governance experts from within BRC. Manage complaints within your area of responsibility ensuring timely deployment of containment, corrective & preventative action
Lead continuous improvement programs such as 8D, lean six sigma, Red X, Kata QRCI etc
Process & Improvement Management: Manage the process and continuous improvement within your unit to support customer satisfaction and quality
Cross-Functional Team Management: Manage cross-functional teams, implement operational techniques, and monitor processes to eliminate causes of dissatisfaction
Improvement Methodology Promotion: Promote the use of key improvement methodologies in the business
Best Practice Sharing: Share and replicate best practices for continuous improvement
Training:During your Manufacturing engineer (degree) apprenticeship, you will receive two types of training.
On-the-job training will be delivered by Schneider Electric, your employer. You’ll receive training and supervision to help you perform your role. This will include skills and knowledge that are outside of the apprenticeship but necessary for the job. In addition to ‘on-the-job’ training, they will support you in other ways to ensure your success. Types of support will include:
A comprehensive induction
Mentoring or regular one-to-one guidance
Social enrichment and networking opportunities
Performance reviews
Mental health and wellbeing support
Feedback opportunities
Off-the-job training will be provided by a carefully selected training provider during your normal working hours. You will spend at least 20% of your working hours (approximately 6 hours per week) completing ‘off-the-job’ training.
This is protected time and a requirement for apprenticeship delivery. This training will teach you the knowledge, skills, and behaviours outlined in the apprenticeship standard, enabling you to achieve occupational competence.Training Outcome:
