Assist experienced NDT Technicians in performing inspections using methods such as Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant Inspection, Ultrasonic Testing and Radiographic Testing.
Prepare cast components for inspection by cleaning, tagging and documenting parts as required

As an Electrician, you will be working on domestic electrical systems, supporting the installation of renewable technologies such as air source heat pumps and solar systems.
This full-time permanent role offers a salary up to £45,000 and benefits.
You will be responsible for:* Installing and integrating electrical systems for technologies such as solar PV, battery storage, EV charging and air source heat pumps
* Carrying out inspection, testing and certification of completed works
* Reading and updating job schedules via internal systems and completing all project-related documentation
* Liaising with end users where necessary to provide guidance and ensure satisfaction
* Ensuring compliance with relevant health & safety, environmental and electrical regulations
What we are looking for:
* Previously worked as an Electrician, Electrical Technician, Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Installer, Service Engineer or in a similar role.
* Possess 1+ years experience.
* Experience with system controls.
* Must hold a minimum of the 18th Edition qualification.
* Competent and certified domestic electrician with strong installation experience.
* Background working in residential environments with a focus on quality and safety.
* Experience with renewable technologies such as air source heat pumps, solar PV systems, or battery storage would be preferred.
* Strong problem-solving approach with sound technical understanding.
* Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel to sites across London and nearby regions.
* Must have own hand tools (specialist equipment provided where required).

You will be responsible for:
Providing high quality, first and second line technical support for the IT service desk; recording all calls and activities within the service desk tool, within the SLA guidelines
Setting up user accounts, implementing password changes, and resolving work area problems (this includes detecting illegal access, lost passwords, bans)
Keeping records of all users, including the management of laptop loans
Handling printing problems – both hardware and software
Dealing with user account problems as and when they occur
Hardware – routine checking, fault-finding and rectifying, general maintenance
Stock control of consumables and hardware ordering, distribution and paperwork
Escalating calls or technical issues internally or to third parties as appropriate
To assist and train students and staff in the use of the Network when applicable
Changing telephone extensions and names on the school phone system
Assisting the IT Lead in all IT related projects
Updating IT equipment and maintaining the asset register
Assistance with the movement and setting up of IT and other AV equipment, e.g. projectors and screens for presentations
Training:The Level 3 IT Technician is delivered by United Apprenticeships.
