Children's Social Worker

We are looking for a Children’s Social Worker to join a Safeguarding team. This role requires a Social Work qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contract/s. About the team This team works with vulnerable children who are subject to child protection plans and works in collaboration with the Children in Need team to identify risk that can affect a child’s welfare. The day-to-day responsibilities include carrying out regular home visits, reviewing Care Plans every 6 months and carrying out child centred practice with children. The team take effective communication with parent’s/carers very seriously to ensure positive outcomes for each child involved and ultimately reduce risk.
