Job Summary
Hillingdon Council are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Social for their Initial Assessment/Transitions team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the initial assessment and transitions of clients, as well as supervising a team of social workers.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial assessments of clients and develop appropriate care plans
Supervise a team of social workers and provide guidance and support
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies
Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and their families
Provide training and development opportunities for staff
Requirements
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
Significant experience in initial assessments and transitions
Experience in supervising a team of social workers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
