We are currently looking for a Qualified Children's Social Worker to join a Support and Safeguarding Team on a Locum basis.
About the team
The North Support and Safeguarding Service works with children, young people, and their families from early help through to permanence. The team benefits from a permanent management structure headed by a Team Manager, with Assistant Team Managers who offer direct monthly supervision to Social Workers through reflective, open, and strength-based support. In addition to this, the service also offers multi-disciplinary team support including key workers who will co-work cases with you as lead social workers. The team offer dedicated Practitioner Support which are in place to support with minute taking of your meetings with families and professionals (CIN and Core Group review meetings). Management also offer access to wider wellbeing support service for practitioners which includes a brand-new support service to reduce the likelihood of secondary trauma in our staff.
About you
The successful candidate will be highly confident in holding CIN and CP cases including undertaking Section 47 enquiries. Experience working in a LAC team and working with Children and Families on a long term plan is also beneficial.

About the team
This team works with those who are being discharged from the Hospital service with the aim to go back into the community. This team works with the continue health care checklist, carry out assessments and undertaking reviews relating to the individuals. Key factors of this team include carrying out Mental capacity assessment, Section 42 and working with other services for the benefit of the client.
About you
The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with relevant legislation such as Care Act 2014, MCA, Section 42. A Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) within a minimum of 1 year post ASYE experience is required. Experience within Community, OP,PD, complex care will be transferable for this team.

Service Care Solutions are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Coordinator to join London Borough of Redbridge's Children's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head of Service and management team in providing a high-quality service to the community.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain good referral pathways and relationships with key stakeholders in the department and in the community
Take ownership of business-critical pieces of work involving legal issues and child protection queries, resolving routine non-complex issues and escalating more complex issues to the Manager and/or the Head of Service
Produce and maintain Excel spreadsheets and ensure that high-level data remains accurate
Liaise with the management team and professional workforce in order to monitor the progress of works and feedback on completion
Assist social workers in coordinating the legal work space, this includes training, monitoring and feedback
Analyse proposed legislation, regulations, or rule changes to determine how the agency services could be impacted
Contribute to improving the business, by putting forward new ideas and, when requested to do so, implementing change
Manage documentation, including contracts, staff and clients records

Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to evaluate the performance of a high performing department and work toward improving the service provided to the community
Experience in providing executive support to management teams and developing projects
Effective first-level communication and liaison service with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to respond and resolve straightforward enquiries and problems, judging when to pass complex queries on or involve others, in order to provide an effective service and clear advice to colleagues and callers
Qualifications and Experience
Relevant field or equivalent experience
Experience in a similar role in a public sector or social care environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
