Plan and manage the welfare of all animals and birds at the farm through routine and responsive inspection and care, including feeding, cleaning and watering. The postholder is responsible for the health, wellbeing and sustainability of stock on the farm.

Role Purpose: The Police Staff Investigator will play a crucial role in progressing established criminal investigations, including gathering evidence, interviewing victims and witnesses, preparing court documents, and collaborating with partner agencies. Key Responsibilities:

Taking written statements and video recorded evidence from victims and witnesses of crime, this will involve gathering relevant information by interviewing the person.
Assisting in the preparation and interviewing of suspects.
Ensuring vulnerability is identified in persons involved in investigations and ensure the appropriate support is provided, including regular updates as to the ongoing progression of investigation.

To work as required on the direction of the BCU Public Protection Superintendent or their delegate.

Knowledge/Experience required:
PIP 2 accredited.
Knowledge of criminal law and Police procedures.
Intermediate IT skills, to include the use of Microsoft Office products.
The ability to appraise, evaluate, collate, and present information/evidence obtained, to ensure that all relevant information/evidence is at hand and is of a high standard.
The ability to communicate effectively (commensurate with the grade and requirements of the post) with managers, members of staff (at all levels) and members of the public.
