The 3rd Shift Certified Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of process and facility-related equipment. Equipment inspection includes preventative maintenance (PM) and associated documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Comply with all safety policies (especially Cardinal Rules - e.g., Hot Work, LOTO, and line breaking).
Partner with Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities Manager to support LEAN initiatives to eliminate unplanned production interruptions due to process equipment failure.
Implement the needed preventative measures, including optimization of the PM program.
Ensure reliable operation of facility support processes and utilities (i.e., HVAC, Air Compressors, Tow motors, Hot Oil Heaters, and chiller systems).
Diagnose/Troubleshoot, repair/replace, and maintain facility electrical systems (e.g. programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, and lighting) and components (e.g. sensors, switches, valves, PLCs, and control wiring), and mechanical systems (e.g. product vessels/reactors, pumps) and components.
Investigate equipment/process failures and difficulties to diagnose and troubleshoot faulty operation.
Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in arranging and coordinating contractors, safety permits, and tasks to support facility and process maintenance/repairs.
Serve, as needed, on process hazard analysis (PHA) teams/sessions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
One-year certificate from college or technical school.
Maintenance Mechanic Certificate or equivalent as deemed by the company.
Industrial Technology program graduate preferred.
Two to four years related experience and/or training.
Experience in LEAN manufacturing.
Military mechanical experience is a plus.
Experience in chemical/coating processing & production preferred.
Experience in dispensing operations preferred.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Journeyman cards in various disciplines are preferred.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Senior Endoscopy Nurses or ODP’s to join the team as Endoscopy Lead at our client's Acute Hospital site based in beautiful Bath, Somerset.The Unit operates from 08.00 - 18.00, Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays.As the successful applicant, you will;- be responsible and accountable for the daily management of the endo and decontamination suite, managing a wide range of priorities, including staff management. - ensure the JAG accreditation standards are met, British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) guidance, and the National and Local decontamination guidance is followed.- perform the tasks of preassessment and endoscopy assistant during procedures (sedation and GA), when required, in collaboration with other members of the MDT. - be responsible for the professional development of the endoscopy team and overall work performance.This is an award-winning hospital, led by some of the South-West's most experienced consultants supported by 24/7 RMO cover on-site. Rated 'outstanding' for caring - this unique centre of excellence was a long-established independent sector hospital, acquired through investment by the NHS in June 2021.The Endoscopy Unit undertakes diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy investigations such as Colonoscopy, Gastroscopy, Polypectomy, Cystoscopy and TOE, and starting a new Colon Capsules initiative. The Hospital has 28 en-suite single inpatient beds, 22 day-case beds and 5 ambulatory care beds. Facilities include 9 consulting rooms, 4 state-of-the-art operating theatres (2 with laminar flow), a JAG accredited Endoscopy suite, a dedicated cardiology suite and intervention treatment room. The dedicated physiotherapy department has a gym and four treatment rooms. The Digital diagnostic unit includes CT, MRI, General X-ray and Ultrasound Person requirements RGN or ODP with appropriate NMC/HCPC registration as applicable.
