The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology provides a consultative service and is supported by a level 4 maternity, a level 4 neonatal unit, and an 8 bed intensive care unit. There are approximately 1000 births annually and staffing includes experienced midwives with highly sought after MGP scheme.
