A fantastic opportunity is now available for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join a specialist mental health service at their modern, purpose-built campus in Accrington.Based primarily around the Dialectical Behaviour Therapy model of care, the MDT implements tailored programmes of therapeutic rehabilitation and support to young people aged 13-19 years with complex social, emotional and mental health needs and who may have a history of trauma.This rewarding role will have you as part of a strong MDT providing targeted support across two 10-bed units (encompassing psychiatric assessment and stabilisation, rehabilitation, and step-down services) to promote recovery and a smooth transition to more community-based care. Plans are in the works to expand for solo placements and semi-independent flats as well.Due to being a smaller independent service, there is a much less intensive environment than in a traditional CAMHS hospital setting.
