An apprentice at our busy private clinic in Codsall will gain valuable experience in a healthcare setting. Typical tasks and training may include:
Supporting reception duties such as answering phones, booking appointments, and greeting patients.
Taking payments by cash and card using a card terminal for treatments and retail items.
Assisting with medical administration including updating patient records, scanning documents, and managing correspondence.
Learning to handle confidential information in line with GDPR, while developing strong organisational and communication skills.
Creating and scheduling engaging content for the clinic’s social media platforms to support patient engagement and promote services.
Supporting with the preparation and cleaning of medical instruments for use by practitioners, following correct hygiene and safety protocols.
Training will be provided on internal systems, data protection, infection control, and healthcare admin best practices to ensure the apprentice is confident and competent in their role.
Training:
1 Day a week at College
The rest of the training will be held in the workplace
