You would be based at our NW London industrial premises and be a valued part of the service team. You will be required to attend field service calls, diagnose, repair and report on findings on laundry equipment in and around London. You will also recondition and install equipment as part of the daily requirements.Duties include:
Attending to service calls, diagnosing, repairing, and reporting on faults (commercial laundry equipment.
Identifying and reporting machine & install conditions and recommendations.
Checking & commissioning equipment installations.
Carrying out basic installations of equipment / dosing / ozone systems.
Preparing and testing ex-rental equipment ready to be supplied.

THE CANDIDATE
I. Education Required (academic and/or technical education)
Literacy and Numeracy.
A broad range of qualifications may be acceptable; however, it is envisaged that there should be a sound Engineering background with a demonstrable ability, ideally supported by a recognised Mechanical or Electrical apprenticeship. An ONC/HNC in an Engineering discipline would be advantageous.
Computer literate experience with MS Office.
Electrical installation qualification to a Minimum of 17th Edition desirable.
Technical Skills & Specific Knowledge Required (specific skills and knowledge required for the position)
Practical experience with a hands-on and methodical approach to mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis/analysis with the ability to use diagnostic tools/equipment.

Use walks as the primary means of education and communication of expectations. Improve productivity through elimination of non-value-added activities. Apply Engineering principles and methodologies to Improve productivity and eliminate waste.
Product Quality Work to maximize equipment efficiency and quality for output. Member of the facility QIC. Ensure identification of root cause and subsequent prevention of future customer complaints. Assist in the training of operators with a focus on quality critical product specifications and process parameters. Capable of equipment troubleshooting and process design.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree from four or 5-year college or university. B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Controls Engineering.
EXPERIENCE:
Six months to one year related experience and/or training. Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or Controls Engineering from an ABET Accredited university.
