Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and design intent to create compliant and buildable metalwork solutions.
Liaise with architects, structural engineers, project managers, and fabricators to coordinate design requirements and resolve technical issues.
Prepare material specifications, cutting lists, and component schedules to support manufacturing processes.
Conduct design reviews and clash checks, provide technical support to workshop and site teams, and participate in site surveys.
Maintain drawing control, revisions, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist in value engineering and design optimisation to improve manufacturability and cost efficiency.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience in architectural metalwork design
Strong experience using Tekla (preferred) for modelling and detailing
