Our client is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team, playing a key role in troubleshooting, field service, technical support, and the maintenance and repair of electrical systems. This exciting opportunity involves working on critical infrastructure such as battery chargers, UPS systems, backup power supplies, emergency lighting, and substations, throughout the East Anglia region.
The position ideally requires experience with utility substations and access to networks such as UKPN, National Grid, Western Power, and Scottish Power, as well as knowledge of the electrical industry’s best practices and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities for the Field Service Engineer job, working in the East Anglia region:
Installation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment across various sites, particularly focusing on utility substations.
Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults in backup power systems (including UPS) and other associated electrical infrastructure.
Providing technical support to customers, both on-site and remotely, ensuring optimal system performance.
