An opportunity has arisen with an established FM service provider based in Watford.

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer for a large commercial property and public space in Watford town centre. You will join a team of six engineers carrying out all aspects of multi-skilled maintenance across the site, with a focus on electrical work. You will have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. The role suits an engineer in a similar position who wants a stable, well-supported site with room to progress. In return, the company is offering a salary of £44,000 to £45,000 per annum.

Key duties and responsibilities

Lighting (small installations, fault-finding, lamping)Emergency lighting and fire alarm testingAir conditioning: AHUs and FCUs (filter changes, cleaning)BMS monitoringWater treatment and tap temperaturesLandlord services maintenancePlanned and reactive maintenance across front-of-house and back-of-house areasArranging and supervising specialist sub-contractorsKeeping reports, site logbooks and paperwork up to date and audit-readyLiaising with site management and occupiers when requiredHours of work
