Here's what you can expect every day: Stages and charges necessary raw materials into process flow tanks. Follows batch work instructions in order to manufacture quality products. Prepares disperser and letdown tank for production, including any necessary equipment clean up. Monitors and controls high-speed disperser, mixer, pumps, flow meters and other instruments in order to make sure that a batch is produced according to work instructions. Adjust a batch, under QC guidance, until it is approved. Get batch tickets from floor supervisor and discuss with floor supervisor the best order. Determine raw materials needed. Housekeeping - Clean up work area to 5S standards, takes out trash, participate in cycle count and inventory program. May assist in other departments such as filling, and material handling or help make sample batches Ensure work area is safe, clean and free of recognizable hazards, communicating all spills or other hazards to the shift supervisor Responsible for Dust collector cleanouts when required. Requirements
5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. 50% of the role is on floor and 50% in office. Should be willing to work with hourly associates and staff directly. Engineering or Chemistry degree is preferred but not mandatory with good significant manufacturing experience, use of lean principles in daily work. Six Sigma Black Beltpreferred. Sealant, Adhesive, Coating or Paint industry experience preferred. Able to travel 50%. Technical Expertise: Strong root cause analysis skills. Experience with processes such as TapRooT, Kepner Tregoe or equivalent is preferable. Demonstrated use of analytical analysis: statistical process control, process capability analysis, correlation, ANOVA, DOE preferable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Preferable proficiency in ERP Systems (SAP, Business Objects, etc.) and Statistical Analysis Software (Minitab, etc.) Knowledge of and demonstrated use of Lean Manufacturing tools. Leadership Skills: Must be self-motivated. Ability to motivate others. Ability to endorse and practice teamwork. Project Management Skills Project management experience required. This is a medium sized international business offering a breadth of services within a niche market. What is the role?

Some locations have a small HR presence so the HRBP – International will manage, coach and support where relevant, along with working closely with the Country Leads to ensure People priorities are identified and addressed, along with being aligned to the group plan. Where growth is expected you will work with local advisors to facilitate recruitment, contracts etc and be a coach and advisor to the Leadership teams. You will also be responsible for the roll out of Group initiatives, ensuring comms are consistent and culturally appropriate per market.
Who are we looking for?
This is unique opportunity to work for an international group, with direct responsibility for an international client group which is incredibly diverse. For this role we are looking for a HR Business Partner who has experience working in a group model with international exposure. The role will be based out of the UK so you must be comfortable building relationships remotely, along with being happy to travel perhaps on a monthly basis (most likely European travel). Ideally you will have worked in a highly technical environment related to engineering or similar.
