The Apprentice Port Health, Safety and Environment Technician will support all PSS health, safety and culture output including safety alerts and bulletins, industry safety statistics, campaigns and briefings, and updating industry guidance.
The role includes visiting ports throughout the UK to support safety meetings and inspections. In the second year, there is an opportunity for a placement on site a member port.
After initial training and guidance, the key tasks include:
Creating safety alerts and bulletins.
Creating and posting content on the PSS website and social media relating to health, safety and culture.
Manage data submissions from members – acknowledging receipt, checking data and filing accordingly. In the second year, this will include basic data analysis.
Assisting in planning and running national Port Safety Group meetings, including attendance at those held in-person at UK port locations.
Liaising with members on health, safety and culture issues.
Assist with the management of the membership database.
Participate in member visits (nationally) alongside other PSS employees.

We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join the team at Little London Academy. This is a vital and rewarding role, supporting the learning and development of all pupils, some with additional needs, and contributing to an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff, typically within a classroom setting. You will help pupils access learning and support their personal development, making a genuine difference in pupils’ lives.
Duties will include:
Supporting students in their learning

Assisting with classroom preparation and routine admin tasks

As a work-based training provider, Aire Vocational Training will provide an exciting individually designed training programme to meet your needs and those of your employer, combining theory with hands-on practical experience to ensure you develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours that are relevant to your role
Our programme has a particular focus on understanding local SEND provision
You will be supported with maths and English at level 2 (if not already achieved)
You will be supported with and prepared for the final Apprenticeship Assessment by Highfield Assessment (EPAO)which will comprise of:
Practical Observation, followed by Question-and-Answer session
Professional discussion supported by a portfolio of evidence
You will be allocated 'Off the Job' Training hours per week (Minimum of 7.5 hours) to complete the Teaching Assistant Standard
Time will be given in your working week in the school setting

Undertake appropriate job preparation prior to commencing repair, including safety precautions, panel preparation and body measurements
Identify the material used in the construction to enable the correct joining techniques and manufacturer specifications to be adhered to
Interpret relevant technical data and methods to make sure that any joints are in line with vehicle manufacturer specification and the vehicle/body panels are aligned correctly

Remove, repair, and replace vehicle body panels and components of the vehicle safely and efficiently

How often training will be:
