Job Duties include:
Review and process all cheques received by the PPF including lodging cheques accurately with the PPF’s clearing bank’s local branch in Croydon.
Review and process all Finance posts received, ensuring that documentation is scanned to the appropriate quality for optical character recognition and saved in SharePoint libraries appropriately.
Update SharePoint and other reconciliation tools with financial information accurately, ensuring compliance with internal PPF policies and GDPR regulations.
Load supplier invoices on Oracle supporting the AP advisor as necessary.
Carry cash book posting supporting the cash management advisor as necessary.
Logging the refunds from the mailbox onto the SharePoint tracker.
Other ad hoc tasks as required including mailbox management.
Training:Foundation covers the basic principles of accountancy, and is your starting point if you’ve never studied accountancy before. You’ll learn the basic principles of accountancy, such as double-entry bookkeeping, costing and preparing financial statements, as well as how to use accountancy software.
This level is ideal if you’re new to accountancy and finance, have previously worked in an accounts department, or are looking to change your career into Accountancy. To pass this level, you'll be examined on five units. All assessments are computer-based exams (CBE).

Training will be provided either via classroom or remote sessions. An apprenticeship has to be relevant to the job you are undertaking and you must dedicate 20% of their time towards it.Training Outcome:
