IT Support Analyst

Hybrid - 2-3 days on site per week
£30,000 per annum
Great opportunity for an IT Support Analyst to provide all levels of support across the clients application catalogue and technology landscape in line with Service Level Agreements and to undertake consultation and advisory responsibilities for any project work as required.
Key responsibilities:
To provide all Service Desk support activities and assistance to end users in the recording and resolution of incidents requests and problems, including diagnosing and triaging of hardware requests and builds
To ensure that all end user raised incidents and service requests are clearly logged in the Service Desk portal, maintaining accurate log entries through to resolution
To perform basic trouble shooting on all supported technology & applications, identifying recurring issues and as appropriate, raising problem tickets to progress to resolution
To maintain confidentiality regarding the information being processed, stored or accessed, in line with security policies
To ensure any changes made are in line with the company change management processes as required
To recommend process or working practice changes to the management team to help remove process failures, redundant or over-engineered processes
To seek mentoring and personal development coaching from more experienced colleagues, and to maintain up to date knowledgebase articles.
Participate in workshops to agree effective solutions to IT change
Communicate and influence where necessary to business stakeholders

What does the role involve?
The first skills that a consultant needs to develop is the ability to listen and understand a customers problem. Therefore, you'll start your journey on our support desk where you'll talk to our customers, create tickets and as your knowledge and skills grow resolve issues that have with their Qlik applications and dashboards.
From there you'll join project teams and work at every stage of the data and project lifecycle.

Requirements
First and foremost, you must be interested in working collaboratively to support our clients and solve real world business problems. In addition, you'll have:
Proven interest in data analysis (this could be from formal studies, self-study or the workplace)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Detail-oriented and strong attention to accuracy and completeness
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn and continuously improve technical and professional skills
Competency with Microsoft office applications including Excel
Some experience of using data tools (e.g. SQL, Python, visualisation tools such as Qlik / Power BI / Tableau etc) would be an advantage but not essential
Training:As part of the Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship standard, you’ll be registered as a member with the British Computer Society and be on a fast track to an industry recognised qualification and your dedicated industry coach will support you through a blended approach that will include remote, in person, 1-2-1 and group learning. Training Outcome:Progression: our services are in demand and we're expanding as an organisation.
