Whilst gaining invaluable training and experience you will be:
Assisting the salon in the smooth day to day running
Assisting the stylists and Salon Managers with their client base
Greeting clients and preparing them ready for stylist
Work hard to get good results and develop good relationships with clients
Be aware of changing fashion trends, new looks and popular products
You will be taught skills within the hairdressing industry to enable you to take those initial steps in becoming the futures next up and coming creative stylist.
Over the training program you will be fully trained on:
Reception duties; including answering phones and booking in clients
Customer care
Shampooing
Advising and consultation
Blow drying
Colouring hair
Cutting hair
Basic admin duties
Hairdressing training and basic duties such as fringe trims and blow drying
General housekeeping throughout the day to ensure salon is always welcoming to the client
Training:The training will take place at our Urmston salon and a day release once a week at Trafford Stockport College Group (Altrincham Campus).Training Outcome:Possibility of a full time position at the end of the apprenticeship.Employer Description:We are a fast growing innovative Hair Salon in the heart of Victoria Parade in Urmston. The Apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Hairdressing at level 2
The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course
This is a Day Release programme, which means you will attend Lincoln/Newark College, 1 day per week, term time only
This will fall within your contracted working hours
Training Outcome:
After the successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is the potential to progress to a Level 3 apprenticeship and/or full-time employment
