Training:Assistant Accountant Level 3.
The successful applicant will work alongside our experienced team members to learn the role and how the industry works from the inside. They will pick up a vast array of knowledge and skills with great scope for continued learning.Training Outcome:Upon completion of apprenticeship, we would be willing to fund the applicants CIMA qualification. Beyond this the applicant would be supported in taking on more responsibility an advancing within the company providing they wish to do so. The company is constantly growing year on year, and we would be looking for a team member who can grow with the organisation.Employer Description:Allied conductors is a leading manufacturer and distributor of overhead line products, cables and accessories to the UK power utilities sector. We have worked with DNOs, iDNOs, ICPs and contractors for over a decade to support the UK electricity infrastructure.Working Hours :Working hours 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
30-min lunch each day with access to tea/coffee throughout the day.

Job duties;
Save bank statements
Ordering daily
Post card machines transactions
Post Sch Fund bank transaction (inc trip income)
Post donations account bank transaction
Update donations spreadsheet
Sales Invoices
Post Petty Cash
Lunch Queries- remove any incorrect lunch charges as and when needed
Pull the income reports off Bromcom weekly and fill in the trip requests
Catering- all catering requests and queries
Count any cash income and get it ready for the bank
Training:This apprenticeship is a perfect match for someone without any accountancy or bookkeeping knowledge. On this programme they will learn the building blocks of the modern accountant. Not only will they grasp the fundamentals of bookkeeping, but we will help them develop those vital skills and behaviours to enable them to put their knowledge into action.
If you’re new to accountancy and finance, looking to change your career into accountancy or have previously worked in an accounts department this level is ideal for you. You don’t need any prior experience working in accounts to study AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting. There are no entry requirements, but you do need good maths, IT and English skills, and a willingness to learn.
You’ll learn a broad range of core accounting skills, including double-entry bookkeeping and basic costing as well as accountancy related business skills and personal skills.
You must successfully complete the following:
Introduction to Bookkeeping (ITBK)
Principles of Bookkeeping Control (POBC)
Principles of Costing (PCTN)
Business Environment (BESY)
