Training:You will study on a Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician apprenticeship. On completion of this, you will gain a qualification in Engineering at Level 3 standard.
During the first year of the apprenticeship, your learning will take place at the University of Sheffield’s AMRC Training Centre based at Catcliffe, Rotherham, for an initial block of study on a full-time basis. Must have the ability to work in close contact with a workshop technician or member of the team.
Must have their own form of transport or means to get to the premises for 7am each morning, through till 4pm and 12 noon on Fridays. Overalls and other PPE will be provided, safety boots need to be worn at all times, and allowance will be provided for boots/shoes.

Become trained and competent in carrying out daily and safety exams Carry out general depot duties e.g. Line of Routes
Provide technical support to the depot teams in the provision of primary fault finding/reporting
Be responsible for managing the 5 S standards across the depot
