Provide technical support, including first-line support for the Milton Keynes Production department across areas such as SMA, Hybrid assembly, Production Test, Dicing Line, Diced Product Automatic Line, FHP Moulding Line, Encapsulation, and Laser marking.
Support the MPS Celab UK site as required.

Our client is seeking a Principal RF Engineer to join their growing engineering team in County Durham, UK. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge RF and mmWave products, from initial concept through to full production, within a state-of-the-art facility.
The successful Principal RF Engineer will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of innovative solutions across telecommunications and defence applications.
Purpose of the Role
The Principal RF Engineer will be responsible for leading the design of RF and mmWave systems, ensuring performance, quality, cost, and manufacturability requirements are met. The role also involves providing technical leadership, supporting project delivery, and driving engineering best practice
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of RF/mmWave circuits, subsystems, and systems

Support component and MMIC selection, liaising with suppliers where required

Adhere to the Electricity at Work Regulations (EAW) and the Princes Electrical Safety Management Procedure (ESMP).
Ensure all activities and working practices are undertaken in a safe manner, taking responsibility for own safety and the safety of others.
Maintain a high standard of hygiene and housekeeping.
Ensure all areas, including engineer’s toolboxes, are free from unaccounted items and potential sources of contamination.
Uphold the Company’s Values and act in accordance with the Company’s Code of Conduct.
Training:
College Day release, one day a week, remaining hours in the workplace.
End Point Assessment
Observation with questions, you will be observed by an independent assessor completing your work. It will last at least 3 hours. They will ask you at least 4 questions.
Interview underpinned by a portfolio of evidence, you will have an interview with an independent assessor. It will last at least 60 minutes. They will ask you at least 8 questions. The questions will be about certain aspects of your occupation. You need to compile a portfolio of evidence before the EPA gateway. You can use it to help answer the questions.Training Outcome:To become a time served engineering multi-skilled technician with mechanical and electrical skills.

The Electrical Engineering Manufacturing Operative Apprentice will support the production team in assembling, inspecting, and packaging products while developing practical manufacturing skills. This role combines on-the-job training with formal learning, providing the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while working towards a recognised qualification.

Quality Control.
Check your work to make sure it's done right, using simple tests and visual checks.
Assist with the assembly of products in line with work instructions and company procedures.
Carry out basic quality checks under supervision to ensure products meet required standards.
Report any defects, faults, or concerns to the Production Supervisor.
Support the packaging of finished goods for safe storage and dispatch.
Follow all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment, including the correct use of PPE.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised work area.
Learn and develop skills across different areas of the production process as part of the apprenticeship programme.
