Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial engineering 2+ years' experience in manufacturing environment. Six Sigma/lean manufacturing experience. Understanding of process control methods, flowmeters, level monitors, and other process controls within a batch manufacturing process. Ability to read and interpret process drawings (process flow diagrams and P&ID's). PLC with ladder logic analysis. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. PC usage with MS Office Suite (AutoCAD experience a plus), strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills both written and verbal.

The UK CAA Licensed CAT A, B1 OR B2 Aircraft Engineers will leverage their expertise to perform comprehensive aircraft maintenance, both inside and outside the cabin. This includes maintaining In-Flight Entertainment Systems and ensuring all modifications comply with strict UK CAA regulations.
Salary - Upto £62.9k depending on license type + £5k to £8k towards license maintenance + £6150 shift allowance.
Key Responsibilities for the UK CAA Licensed CAT A, B1 OR B2 Aircraft Engineers:
- Perform built-in test (BIT) and manual test of IFE systems.
- Troubleshoot electronic units, cabling or seat consoles in which failures occur down to the line replaceable modules, using knowledge of electronic theory.
- Identify necessary repairs to restore functional acceptance, which may require replacing defective line replaceable modules and/or cabling.
- Perform maintenance checks on Customer aircraft for various airlines.
- Operate a vehicle on airport property and around aircraft.
- Operate airline communications equipment.
- Communicate and interface with customers.
- Document the testing and repairs using computer and bar-coding equipment.

Key Skills and Experience Required by the UK CAA Licensed CAT A, B1 OR B2 Aircraft Engineers:
- Licenses: Must have an A or B1 or B2 license with a Type Rating on (A380, A350, A330, A320, 787, 777, 767)
- Must be able to pass a 5-year background check, extensive security and reference checks for Airside access.
- Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- General knowledge of fundamental electrical Engineer or related experience acquired through commercial aviation, military experience or technical school education is highly preferred, but not required.
- IFE or avionics experience is highly preferred, but not essential.
- Must have the ability to climb and work from a ladder or platform, and endure sitting, standing, bending or twisting for extended periods.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to operate under extreme weather conditions and in confined spaces for extended periods.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Corporate Project Engineer is accountable for leading strategic CapEx engineering projects within Manufacturing Operations with a focus primarily on Mechanical Engineering. This includes executing engineering projects for capital installations $200,000+, project management ownership from design through startup, and long-range technical planning and strategies for the business. The role also leads the creation and maintenance of engineering design specifications, guidelines, and standards.
Principle Accountabilities:
Responsible for capital project execution including equipment selection, justification, CapEx processing, purchasing, installation, and start-up support efforts Engineering Design - Assist in engineering design specifications and Techno-Economic Models including process design, P&ID, mass and energy balances, equipment sizing, and financial analyses (CapEx, OpEX, NPV) Support & bolster the Engineering Work Process providing strategic direction and support to build and enhance the work process Engineers within the team on large projects can be assigned specific portions of capital projects based on expertise and workload availability including project management, technical design of packaging equipment & paint making/processing equipment, and construction management. Project Management - Manage projects using the Engineering Work Process from conceptual design through successful startup transition to the local plant team. This includes managing budget, timeline, and deliverables to ensure projects meet established success criteria. Design - Recommend, and implement manufacturing systems that are designed for machine, human interaction, method/process, raw material & environmental variability. Design to incorporate Lean principles to improve reliability, ease of use & maintenance, minimize changeover times, and to minimize production losses. Construction Management - Manage contractors, technicians, skilled trades, and internal resources to safely install and startup manufacturing systems. This includes working with the plant operational teams on training, standard operating procedures, and identification of spare parts. Apply the Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations, building code, and NFPA fire code to capital projects and design specifications Manage external Engineering Firm resources on large capital projects Frequent interface with corporate staff, plant staff, operators, and maintenance personnel across a 3-shift operation
Education/Experience Requirements:
BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred. Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Packaging, and Electrical Engineers with hands-on related experience will also be considered. 5 years Minimum in plant engineering support role with hands-on experience in engineering, process design, continuous improvement, troubleshooting equipment, project management and project start-up verification Demonstrated strong organizational, interpersonal, and technical communication skills, with the ability to lead and thrive in fast-paced, multitasking environments Commitment to safety, ethical behavior, and respect for people, ensuring adherence to industry standards, governmental regulations and company values Willingness to travel frequently to support capital project assignments. The role
As a Senior Marine Operations Engineer, you will be involved in all aspects of marine surveys to include Metocean field engineering activities. The engineer will be the lead person managing the deployment and recovery of Metocean equipment, both moorings and subsea components while also acting as the offshore client liaison.
The role of a Senior Marine Operations Engineer is varied and offers the opportunity to work on projects for offshore wind farms, renewable energy, and oil & gas. This position will suit experienced an aspiring party chief from a similar background, geophysical or seismic surveys who is looking for a more varied career. The projects range from one or two days to longer trips of up to four weeks with the potential to work all over the world. Our engineers are involved in a mixture of offshore and coastal vessels, drilling platforms and onshore installations. As no two projects are the same, you will need to be resourceful and flexible and enjoy working in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Additionally, you will also be asked to add your experience to project planning. This role can be based out of our Wallingford, Oxfordshire office and Portchester, Hampshire office. This may also be an offshore role based on fixed number of days offshore for the right candidate.
Who we’re looking for:
Essential
It is essential that you have previous experience in a similar role (deck operations on a vessel).
Previous offshore experience on a variety of projects (or similar type work) and willing to work offshore for approximately 2 to 3 weeks at a time, within UK, Europe and Africa.
Experience deployment of marine monitoring instrumentation equipment (or similar) and proficient in the setup and operation of commonly used sensors (training will be provided).
Knowledge and understanding of lift plans.
Good at problem solving, enjoy tackling technical challenges.
The ability to work to strict deadlines within short notice changes.
A systematic and methodical approach with a fine attention to detail.
Excellent communication and language skills in English (reading, written and spoken).
Full driving licence.
Experience of Managing small teams
Experience of acting as a client liaison
Desirable
BSc degree or above in oceanography, science, instrumentation, engineering, electrical or mechanical.
Understand the principles of real-time data, data acquisition and data QC and are proficient in the use of software.
