Training:

The IT team supports all staff and volunteers working across multiple sites in southeast London. This includes our Sydenham and Orpington sites, our shops, and the ability for people to work remotely.
Our IT department includes the following functions:
An in-house IT helpdesk support team that provides telephone, virtual and deskside support for common IT issues (Account management and administration, IT hardware/software issues, printing, telephony, etc.)
This includes a 24/7 out-of-hours on-call service for clinicians/staff who require IT support outside of core office hours
Support for the core networking, server infrastructure, and associated design and maintenance
This is provided by a combination of external contractors and our in-house IT team
In-house Database administration which provides detailed analysis, reports and design changes to our Patient Record System (as well as to HR and other departmental database systems as necessary)

Primary Job Purpose:
To provide excellent customer service to all those requiring IT support onsite and offsite (using provided remote IT support tools)

Site Engineer / Setting Out EngineerLocation: Kent / South EastRate: £250 – £270 per day (CIS / Self-Employed) or Perm £65,000-£70,000 Per annumWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer to join a fast-growing groundworks and civil engineering contractor delivering projects across Kent and the South East.The company works with private developers, commercial clients and public sector organisations, delivering infrastructure and groundworks packages on residential developments, highways and commercial schemes.This is an excellent opportunity to join an established contractor working on housing developments, infrastructure works and commercial projects.Key Responsibilities• Setting out for groundworks, drainage, foundations and infrastructure• Interpreting technical drawings and site plans• Using Total Station / GPS equipment (Leica / Trimble)• Checking levels, lines and dimensions on site• Supporting site managers and groundworks teams• Ensuring works are completed in line with design and specifications• Maintaining accurate site records and QA documentation• Assisting with technical problem solving on siteProject TypesYou will be working on projects including:• Residential housing developments• Infrastructure and highway works• Commercial developments• Drainage and foundation packagesGroundworks typically include site preparation, drainage installation, foundations, concrete works, tarmac and external works.Requirements• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer• Groundworks or civil engineering background• Experience setting out drainage, foundations, roads or infrastructure• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings• Experience using Total Station / GPS equipment• CSCS card requiredWhat’s on Offer• £250 – £270 per day – Perm £65,000-£70,000 per annum• Ongoing projects across Kent and the South East• Opportunity to work with a growing contractor with a strong pipeline of workIf you would like to apply or discuss the role further, please get in touch.Westin Par values diversity and promotes equality.
