Production Supervisor South Manchester Monday to Friday 2PM-10PM Up to £37,000 DOE     Production Supervisor The Role   Reporting to the Production Manager the supervisor is responsible for attaining the daily production plans. You must manage your team to ensure that all processes carried out are done in line with the quality manual and that the factory systems are completed efficiently. Production Supervisor Key Responsibilities  ; ·         Be competent and have a safe working knowledge of production machinery and equipment. ·         Ensure that your team are constantly working safely and following the correct procedures.  ·         Ensure all written and online documentation is completed correctly and in a timely manner. ·         Lead the production team adhering to internal processes and procedures, to ensure good production efficiencies and good manufacturing practices. ·         Manage staff rota in accordance with labour budgets (including agency staff). ·         Work closely with the planning department to ensure all published plans are completed in the most efficient and cost-effective way. ·         Attend and contribute to production and shift meetings. ·         Work with the Training Co-Ordinator to ensure all training is completed thoroughly and tracked in line with company guidelines. ·         Identify areas of improvement in both the production and packing areas, in relation to both efficiency and quality. ·         Manage holiday requests and absences in line with the company policies, ensuring that everything is recorded accurately on our HR software. ·         Manage your team in a fair and consistent manner in line with company policies. ·         Support and direct the team effectively to ensure they are equipped with the right skills and knowledge.   Production Supervisor The Candidate   ·         Knowledge of OEE. ·         Good computer skills in Microsoft excel and word. ·         Be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and describe experience of working within a leadership team. ·         Be able to operate machinery effectively. ·         Be able to hold meetings as required. ·         HACCP Level 3 ·         Food Safety Level 3 ·         IOSH   The Company With over 22 years of experience as a family-run business, our client are dedicated to delivering exceptional quality and outstanding customer service in everything they do.
