Shift Leader
Salary: £13.78 inclusive of holiday pay (£12.30 per hour + £1.48 holiday pay) + £290 per month car allowance

As a Retail Stocktaking Shift Leader you will take accountability for managing teams of up to 60 stock counters, delivering the end-to-end stock taking service while on our client’s sites. The shifts lengths vary, and we require flexible availability, you will be required to travel to a different client site each day and may occasionally be expected to stay away from home.
Days: Monday – Sunday (Up to 5 days in a 7-day working pattern and there is the possibility flexibility in the working days per week if required)

- Mock counts are all arranged for the Friday before counts take place.
- First mock count is Friday 30th Jan at Middlesbrough.
- These must attend for all colleagues as inductions and AMT training will be given
This is a casual position based at our customers distribution centre in Goole
Rate of pay: £12.26 per hour

A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative
As a Warehouse Stock Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate.
Our activities vary, so often, you may be required to work across multiple different workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits and Load Adherence checks most of which require periods of manual handling.
Job activities
Audit the Inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
Audit Picker accuracy of stock destined for stores and fully investigate all errors found.
Adhere to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.
Maintain integrity at all times.
Ensure the expected productivity levels are achieved, in line with customer expectations.
Review daily targets in line with customer expectations.

Able to actively respond to both verbal instructions and audible warning devices
The ability to communicate well, both written and verbally.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
To carry out stock auditing duties in a fixed site or sites which require shift cover (i.e. for holidays or long term sickness etc) as deemed appropriate by management.
Maintain and develop relationships and effective lines of communication between RAS, client and client appointed 3PL.
Administrative duties to include weekly time sheets, new starter training and sign off, pre inspection sheets, filling and filing of audit paperwork and soft data entry, scheduling, holidays and uniform requests, any auditing associated task and last but not least conducting audits
Ensure that an efficient & robust service is provided in a consistent fashion at all times to the client, so client KPI’s and Ways of working are met.
That all relevant objectives are achieved in a sustainable manner.
That all RAS colleagues are treated in a professional manner at all times. Ensure all allocated shifts are worked and time and attendance expectations are met

What will you do this year?In your role as a Supervisor, Catering your primary accountabilities will be to:
Support the planning and execution of catered events across the PNE, including corporate functions, meetings, banquets, and other year-round events.Assist with event staffing and scheduling and support the orientation and training of new catering employees as required.Provide on-site supervisory support during events, assisting staff with service delivery and resolving operational issues in real time.Support inventory management activities, including forecasting, ordering, receiving, tracking, and maintaining inventory levels.Assist in ensuring a high standard of guest experience, including staff readiness, service flow, and presentation.Support compliance with FoodSafe, health and safety regulations, liquor service standards, and all corporate and departmental policies and procedures.Assist in ensuring the proper care, cleaning, storage, and security of all catering equipment, supplies, and food products, including labeling, dating, and product rotation.Assist in monitoring and controlling food waste and product loss.Always Ensure adherence to the PNE Uniform and Appearance Policy.Complete basic administrative and event documentation as required.Perform other related duties in support of Food & Beverage operations as assigned.

Previous experience working in the Food & Beverage industry at a supervisory level is required. Experience supervising large-scale or high-volume events is considered an asset.Valid BC Class 5 or Class 7 Driver’s License with the ability to provide a driver’s abstract.Working knowledge of food and beverage operations, food hygiene practices, and quality standards.FOODSAFE Level 1 and Serving It Right certification requiredAvailability to work a flexible, event-based schedule, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and peak event periods.Familiarity with PNE operations and event environments is considered an asset.Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service.Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure while managing multiple service demands.Strong organizational and administrative skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
