Responsibilities of the CNC Grinder:
Setting up and operating CNC profile grinder machinery to precise tolerances
Machining large, complex components
Performing profile grinding on internal and external gear teeth
Handling individual parts and batch production runs to meet quality standards
Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, K charts, and gear graphs
Mounting and balancing grinding wheels and managing machine setups with accurate documentation
Collaborating with the team to improve tooling and machining processes
Maintaining machinery through routine daily checks and participating in 5S improvement initiatives
Operating multiple machines as required and supporting effective shift handovers
Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety standards in a safety-critical environment
Requirements of the CNC Grinder:
Successful completion of an engineering apprenticeship
Proven experience operating CNC profile grinders, preferably with GER or Danobat machinery
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand gear profiles
Skilled in mounting, balancing grinding wheels, and precision measuring with micrometers
Experience in slinging and lifting heavy and large components
Strong attention to detail working within close tolerance environments
Commitment to safe working practices and quality standards

Working as part of a skilled team responsible for conducting safe testing of high pressure industrial rotating machinery
Working directly from schematics, wiring diagrams and drawings to accurately instal various types of sensors and instruments to monitor a vast range of parameters during the testing phase
For the Electrical Technician position, we are keen to hear from individuals who possess the following:
Formal qualifications within a relevant discipline (apprenticeship, NVQ/BTEC/City & Guilds Level 3, HNC, HND etc.)
Previous experience working within an industrial or manufacturing environment
The ability to read, interpret and work directly from schematics & drawings
Working Hours of the Electrical Technician: 37 Per week spread across a day shift pattern:
Monday to Thursday - 07:00 to 15:30
Friday – 07:00 to 12:30
In return, the Electrical Technician will receive:
Annual Salary: £37,000.01 (£19.23 per hour)
Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days including public holidays
Annual Bonus up to £1,700.00 per annum – subject to company performance
Pension Scheme: 15% Combined Contribution (9% Employer / 6% Employee)
Access to the onsite canteen (subsidised) and gym
Opportunity to work frequent overtime, paid at 150%
Free onsite car parking
