HGV Mechanic, Heywood, Greater Manchester
Resolve Recruitment are proud to be working with one of the worlds largest providers of temperature controlled logistics solutions. Due to continued growth, our client seek a number of HGV Mechanics to work from their Heywood site in Greater Manchester on either a day or night shift:
Vacancy 1: Days: 0600 to 1800 - 4 on/4 off = £42,367 pa
Vacancy 2: Nights: 1800 to 0600 - 4 on/4 off = £44,155 pa
The role:
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs
Maintain, repair and service units and trailers to MOT standards
Making sure vehicle cleaning requirements are up to standard before MOT service
Repairing defects
General basic garage duties
Dealing with breakdowns nationwide
The person:
Experience with maintenance and MOT on HGVS
Class 1 licence is desirable
Demonstrated knowledge of electrical instrumentation and safety compliance
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organisation
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload

Position: Site Setting Out Engineer Location: Cork CitySalary: Excellent Salary & Package on offer.
Key responsibilities:
Setting Out – groundworks & structural – Use of GPS, total station & automatic levels
Coordinating site drawings
Daily liaison with the project team, design team, and subcontractors
Monitoring and recording of materials, plant, and logistics
Implementing QA procedures, concrete pre/post pour checks, RFI’s and resolves technical issues
Record keeping and reporting
Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site.
Specific Requirements
Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
2 years’ experience in a similar role
Previous Main Contractor experience
Previous projects experience on Construction/Civil Engineering projects (Residential, RC Frame, Retail/Commercial, Pharma, Datacentre, Hi-Tech)
Proficient in the use of GPS, robotic total station, and levelling equipment is essential
Excellent IT skills – knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navis works, Microsoft
