Main Duties and Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for providing full administrative support to all workstreams, projects and business as usual within SNEE Training Hub
Act as the first point of contact for specific project areas and for the SNEE Training Hud, dealing with routine and specialist enquiries in a pleasant and helpful manner
Support the administration and coordination of all student placements across the Training Hub
Liaise with practices, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), and finance teams to coordinate placements, manage funding allocations and resolve invoice or general queries
Manage internal student databases and ensure accurate and timely data collection and reporting
Provide general administrative support, including photocopying, word processing and office management tasks
Coordinate and support meetings, book venues, send invites, set agendas, take minutes and produce meeting papers and reports
Provide administrative support for training courses, including booking rooms and equipment, arranging trainer and managing delegate bookings
Assist in the creation of training materials and induction packs to support training programmes
Recognise when to escalate enquiries outside your area of knowledge to the appropriate teams membe
Attend mandatory training as required

Successful candidates will provide clinical support to dentists, hygienists and patients. You will also assist the reception staff in any clerical duties and perform any other tasks as reasonably requested by the principal.
Other duties include:
Keep the clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy and sterile as appropriate according to the practices health and safety and infection control procedures and manufacturers' instructions
Provide chairside assistance, ensuring that the correct equipment is available
Ensure the care and welfare of patients in a friendly, caring, helpful, courteous and professional manner
Accurately complete patient clinical records as directed and being responsible for recording patient information on the practice database
Handle all substances in accordance with health and safety policies
Complete laboratory request forms, keep records of work sent, received and fitted
Managing patient appointments
Making sure all equipment is sterilised and ready before procedures and treatments
Reception duties
Training:This course is delivered using a blended delivery model, an apprentice will spend 2 days per month at Bradford College undertaking classroom-based learning in addition to regular workplace assessments.
Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship, the apprentice will be awarded the following:
Level 3 Dental Nurse (GDC)
Functional Skills in maths and English Level 2 (if applicable)
Training Outcome:
There is a range of post-registration courses available for dental nurses looking to further their education
They may include a range of higher education qualifications or other work-related education and training to support continuing professional development
We will be offering oral health practitioner Level 4 management Level 5 as possible progressions once you have completed your dental nurse apprenticeship
