What will you be doing?

Expertise in engineering design, procurement, construction management, and project execution.
Strong understanding of grid connection requirements, permitting processes, and technical regulatory frameworks in Italy.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work collaboratively across different teams.

Carboline Global is seeking a Plant Buyer for our manufacturing facility in Lake Charles, LA. This individual will be responsible for identifying assigned product manufacturing requirements that optimizes batch sizes, minimizes excess, and meets customer delivery requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Associates degree or equivalent experience. Experience with Microsoft Office. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are a must.
Physical Requirements
This position requires minimal physical activity but does require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day. No unusual environmental, lifting or exertion requirements are associated with this position.
Essential Functions
Work all designated Purchase Orders for review and validation of total demand requirements for raw materials, containers and cartons, and make decisions on proper order quantity, approved vendor and delivery date. Track on Time Delivery orders and follow-up purchase orders that were not delivered by vendor's agreed delivery date and resolve delivery issues. Place purchase orders using LN for raw materials, containers and cartons. Work closely with the Corporate Scheduler to prioritize and coordinate raw materials, cartons, and containers for production requirements. Resolve inventory discrepancies with Accounts Payable. Review each requirement and consolidate purchases where possible, modify and establish order quantities based on coast, production levels and current inventory. In conjunction with Corporate Purchasing, Plant Management and Scheduling, determine appropriate reorder points and stocking levels for raw materials, cartons, and containers. Work with Corporate Purchasing to evaluate and select distributors for raw materials based on quality, price and delivery. Recommend vendors for product evaluation. Maintain and correlate Purchase order receipt packages for raw materials, cartons and containers received. Take an active role in hazard recognition and injury prevention by following all safety rules & regulations and report all injuries and incidents to your supervisor. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner.

Position Summary:
This position will communicate directly with sales reps, customers, distributors, customer service and RTS warehouses concerning all color questions and orders.
Essential Functions:
Receive color related orders, and maintain work schedule. Make a folder with all relevant color matching information for the color technician. Use the color computer to measure colors and search out the closest color. Assign new color numbers, and keep color cross reference up to date. Make working color standards for new orders and make final master color standards for production. Make color chips for marketing requests. Maintain marketing color chip file. Prepare and maintain charts, such as Federal Colors, base densities and other cross references. Must be friendly, organized, detail oriented, flexible and dependable. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner. Take an active role in hazard recognition and injury prevention by following all safety rules & regulations and immediately report all injuries and incidents to your supervisor. Maintain oversight of the EHS function at the Corsicana Chemical Manufacturing Plant to ensure EHS compliance and risk are evaluated and managed appropriately. Contribute to the development of new and revision of existing EHS policies, procedures, programs, and processes and verify their deployment throughout. Partner with Corp EHS and other Manufacturing leadership in the planning, development, and implementation of EHS/risk reduction strategies, initiatives, and programs in alignment with SH&E performance trends, business goals, and regulatory obligations. Identify, establish, and communicate cascading EHS goals for the Corsicana Plant, incorporating the needs of Plant as well as the greater Tremco organization. Facilitate workshops and other activities to improve employee engagement and the overall safety culture of the plant. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance on existing and evolving EHS regulatory matters to the EHS team, Site Leadership team and Plant Manager.
