Job Purpose
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, professionally qualified and registered RICS Land and Property Surveyor to join this company's Commercial Development & Economic Growth Directorate. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a professional service to ensure that the company's commercial land and property portfolio is efficiently managed to protect the company’s capital investment, to promote employment opportunities and to generate capital and revenue surpluses.
Main Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities
Undertaking the end of year Asset Register valuations/reports and sign these off as a Registered Valuer.
Inspecting, surveying, valuing, negotiating, reporting upon and concluding all cases allocated to the post holder, including acquisitions, disposals, easements, licenses, appropriations, insurance, purchase and blight notices, agricultural tenancies, telecom masts and residential feasibility studies.
Managing the company’s land and property portfolio to include lease renewals, rent reviews, assignments, new lettings, lease surrenders and schedule of dilapidations.
Setting and monitoring relevant targets and budgets.
Negotiating covenant consent cases that have inbuilt “added value”.
Preparing cases for arbitration and attending County Court as an expert witness as required.
Representing the service and giving property advice at internal meetings of the council and meetings with outside bodies as required.
Keeping updated with relevant legislation, government and council policy, case law, County and local planning policy, national and local property market trends, RICS guidelines and codes of practice and CPD requirements.
Developing strategies and solutions for future implementation.
Requirements
Experienced, professionally qualified and registered RICS Land and Property Surveyor.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, government and council policy, case law, County and local planning policy, national and local property market trends, RICS guidelines and codes of practice and CPD requirements.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

General Purpose of the Job:
Provides total support to the users of SAP application system and ancillary software tools, including package installation, configuration, enhancements & process improvements, problem resolution, training and education, report development. The position focuses on a specific functional area(s) of the company, which in this case is FI/CO - Finance and Controlling with emphasis on SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR). The scope of responsibility is for Tremco Americas operations all business, all locations. Nurtures and insures the successful use of the application systems tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides overall direction in the implementation of new SAP modules and new releases of the SAP application software, as well as 3rd party software tools. Provides 2nd level help desk support. Trains and assists users in the use of SAP business application software. Prepares training materials, schedules and conducts application system training as needed. Audience may be other IT staff or end-user staff. Performs cost vs. benefit analysis to determine rational for application system development and enhancements. Acts as liaison to the software vendors and other users of the software. Is actively involved in software and/or functional user groups users. The Role
Key purpose of the role is to support the Service Manager to develop and deliver improvement programmes, taking the lead on operational delivery.

We are currently recruiting for a property compliance officer. The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all properties within the portfolios have all statutory certificates and licences. The successful candidate will liaise with contractors, tenants, and freeholders to arrange the testing and inspections required to ensure properties within the portfolios meet all statutory obligations and local property licensing conditions.
Duties would include:
Proactively maintain a spreadsheet database (or future asset management software which may be adopted) listing the testing and inspection requirements for each property and the expiry dates of the test certificates
Produce and proactively update a rolling 12-month work plan detailing the testing and inspections to be commissioned within the next 12-month period
Instruct contractors or staff to carry out the testing and/or inspections according to the work plan
Liaise with tenants, staff, long leaseholders, freeholders and contractors to arrange the access required for testing/inspections to be carried out within the required time periods
Monitor contractors and HGL/EL staff to ensure the required testing/inspections have been carried out and ensure that certificates and reports are stored in the relevant files and systems
Refer any technical issues highlighted in testing or inspection reports to HGL management and the relevant technical officer
Arrange for injunctions to be obtained and coordinate forced entries where tenants consistently refuse to provide access without good reason
Undertake any other administrative activities as required

The role will report into the EMEA/ APAC IT Data Centre/Operations Manager, serving as technical experts and participate in or oversee a variety of analytical and technical assignments that provide for problem diagnosis and solutions documentation, implementation, administration, support, and maintenance of a variety of hardware and software products in an information technology infrastructure environment. The role is broadly split between providing day to day operational support for existing infrastructure services and users of those services, and project-based work leading to the development and deployment of new infrastructure services or EOL activities.
