We are looking to offer 2 apprenticeship positions, 1 in our AV team and 1 in our Digital team. AV Apprentice: You’ll support the activation and delivery of AV campaigns, helping to book, traffic and manage media across: TV BVOD, VOD, Cinema, Radio and Digital Audio, while ensuring campaigns run smoothly and on schedule. Digital Apprentice: You’ll support the activation and optimisation of digital campaigns, helping to set up, monitor and report on activity across Paid Social, Display & Online Video, ensuring campaigns deliver against client objectives. Alongside studying for your Apprenticeship Qualification, we’ll expect you to carry out some key responsibilities; Reporting: Using multi-media systems to monitor competitor activity, examine audience behaviour and demographics, and to implement and evaluate campaigns. Establishing media owner relationships:Liaising with media owners, keeping informed of the latest developments within their sector and building strong relationships to deliver the best value for our clients. Administration: Keeping on top of finance, bookings, competitive reporting, campaign analysis, client updates and weekly client reports. Contributing to agency life: We encourage employees to get involved in wider areas of the business. This can be anything such as new business pitches, DE&I initiatives, events planning or researching consumer and market trends. Industry knowledge: Keeping up to-date with both media and wider industry news to keep the agency and clients informed with relevant and interesting information. Audience Research: Using desk and primary research to tackle clients’ biggest insight challenges as we look to communicate with customers in more impactful ways. Training:Advertising & Media Executive Level 3 Standard: An advertising and media executive will help with the day-to-day progress of the whole advertising process, from receiving the brief from the marketing team, including objectives, budget and timescales, through to the measurement of how effective the advertisement has been. In their daily work, they will interact with many other people, processes and systems. (For example, the client, 3rd party suppliers, the broad team at the agency.) They help campaigns move forward, coping with inevitable setbacks and changes in direction (some at the last minute), whilst showing collaboration and maintaining relationships with all. Usually, they report to an Account or Media Manager. They usually specialise in one of two parts of the advertising process: the first is the process of producing the advertisement (creative); the second is the process of distributing the advertisement (media). Apprentices must therefore complete the core apprenticeship and one of these options. JOB DESCRIPTION GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The General Services (GS) Field Estimator is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and comprehensive estimating services for patch-and-repair proposals within their assigned region. This role plays a critical part in supporting sales and operations by ensuring estimates are well-developed, cost-effective, and aligned with project requirements. The Field Estimator conducts assessments of existing building envelope and roofing conditions based on Sales Representative scopes of work, visual inspections, and documented deficiencies. Leveraging these findings, the Estimator develops detailed scopes of work, prepares budgets and estimates, and produces professional proposals for roof repairs, façade repairs, and roof renovations. In addition, the Field Estimator serves as a key liaison to field teams, effectively communicating project scope and expectations to foremen and technicians through both verbal and written means. Other essential responsibilities include attending pre-bid meetings, capturing accurate field measurements, and providing thorough photo documentation to support proposals and planning. The role requires strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate the Quality Control (QC) process in partnership with the Quality Control Specialist (QCS) for all Field Representatives in the region. This includes conducting random site visits on current and past projects, documenting findings, and ensuring that work meets company standards and customer satisfaction requirements. Investigate roof and building envelope conditions to support the development of General Services (GS) estimates and proposals for Sales Representatives, providing alternative solutions when appropriate. Serve as a technical resource with expertise in roofing systems. Perform detailed take-offs from construction documents to support accurate proposals. Travel to project sites as needed for proposal development and validation. Collaborate with Tremco Sales Representatives, WTI Field personnel, and WTI Construction Managers to align project scope and cost requirements. Provide RoofSnap labor details as needed to Construction Managers and General Contracting Estimators to support Labor, Installation, and Productivity (LIP) preparation for proposals. Prepare detailed and accurate estimates by reviewing Sales Representative scopes of work, project plans, specifications, and addenda, identifying labor, material, and time requirements. Identify and contact suppliers and subcontractors as needed for inclusion in estimates. Ensure suppliers and subcontractors without Master Service Agreements (MSAs) are referred to the Divisional Administrator for approval, documenting exceptions or refusals to avoid procurement delays. Conduct thorough take-offs for roofing repairs and renovations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the project scope. Assemble and present estimates with precision, incorporating both numerical data and precise descriptive details. Maintain professional and timely communication with customers, Sales Representatives, field staff, and internal company personnel via email, phone, text, or in person. Assist in the training and development of Field Representatives and "Elevate" program candidates and graduates, in alignment with WTI Training Policy. Training includes: Proper completion of services and related documentation. Safety training and documentation requirements. Certification and approval of Field Representatives, including OSHA Hazard Awareness and Toolbox Talks. Conduct Platinum Inspections, in conjunction with the Inspection Team, to prepare associated cost estimate proposals. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of WTI services and deliverables. Participate in all required calls, meetings, and organizational communications. Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by the Regional Business Manager (RBM) or GS Supervisor. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: 30-hour OSHA certification Registered Roof Observer (RRO) preferred but not required. During your apprenticeship, you’ll spend a significant portion of your first year at Make UK based in Aston, Birmingham (B6 7EU). Apprentice Construction Project Manager (degree)
Assist in the preparation of the Authority to Proceed and Point of Award documents following receipt of the order. Attend internal project kick-off meeting. To assist in the preparation of the Point of Award and, in particular, the agreement of the budget for the project. To assist in preparing a Project Execution Plan, defining how the project will be managed and successfully delivered. To learn to produce a contract programme for the off-site and on-site works issue internally and to the client for acceptance. This should also include a detailed Information Release Schedule. To input all key dates and project information into HPS / HDS and regularly ensure these dates are maintained and updated where necessary. Assist in reviewing and updating weekly delivery dates in HPs. To ensure contract information (specifications and drawings) is provided to the engineering department. To assist in organising and inputting into the Project Safety Review(s) and provide inputs to the Hazard Register, ensuring risks are identified and managed out as the project progresses. To liaise with the Project Engineer/Engineering Team to ensure compliance with the specification, programme and budget. To prepare the bought-out register early in the project life and that the bought-outs are prepared and issued to procurement in adequate time for the goods or services to be sourced. To liaise with the engineering function to ensure the issue of fabrication drawings to production are in line with the contract programme and manufacturing programme. To liaise with the construction function to plan and produce method statements in sufficient detail and quality and in time for approvals prior to works commencing on site. To attend production review meetings to identify unusual items for fabrication and/or treatment and agree the strategy for any major subcontract items. To identify all abnormal loads, and specific handling and transport requirements are discussed and communicated with fabrication, treatment, transport / logistics and the construction departments. To attend construction review meetings to determine the construction strategy for the project. To attend regular reviews with procurement on the progress of bought out / subcontract packages, in line with the contract requirements, including the review of major supplier and subcontractor bids and involvement in the selection of major suppliers and subcontractors. To assist in securing client approval of subcontractors as required under the contract. To attend regular project reviews and to produce project status reports for distribution to our client. These should be updated weekly. To work with the project QS on the production of the monthly commercial reports. To assist in the production of monthly project reports for distribution internally to update on progress and commercial status. To attend weekly event review meetings to categorise, action and close out all project events as they occur in line with the TGN 41 (events) and TGN 42 (variations). To assist in ensuring the contract requirements are understood by the project team and all notices, particularly in relation to cost and time, are submitted in accordance with the contract requirements and to ensure the company secures recovery for variations and entitlements to extension of time as appropriate. To monitor that incoming correspondence is reviewed and actioned by the relevant department. To attend regular meetings with the client and the designers to ensure the project progress is tracked and communicated as required. To review activity on site with the construction team to ensure it is carried out safely and to programme. Training: You will attend Westminster University on a day-release basis, completing your degree over 3 years. You will follow a learning plan in the workplace, supported by a mentor.
