Early Years Apprentice
To work as part of a team, offering opportunities to meet the all round developmental needs of young children in accordance with the policies and procedures of the organisation. To work with users of the service, encouraging them to become actively involved in the nursery. Accountable to the Senior Early Years Practitioner. To assist the team to plan, develop and facilitate quality educational experiences for the children in our nursery. Organise appropriate curriculum activities for individual and group learning needs Ensure you foster the curriculum using the ‘Hygge’ principle approach supported by Development Matters 2021 To be involved in the general care and well-being of the under fives registered at the nursery and to provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment To work with the rest of your team to encourage the development of day to day routines and childcare practices that will promote the overall aims and objectives of the nursery as agreed by the staff group and Management team To assist in assessing children’s development and progress and to share this information with parents, staff and other agencies as appropriate.
