We are looking for a technically strong, hands-on EC&I Engineer who can work confidently across operational, maintenance and project environments. Experience & Qualifications Required:

Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, PLC/DCS control systems (experience with DeltaV is highly desirable) and relevant maintenance and project practices.
Good understanding of process safety, functional safety, hazardous-area engineering and applicable UK legislation and engineering standards.

Minimum of good Honours Degree in Electronics
Approximately 5 years practical experience in design and development of new products in one or more of these areas:
Analogue circuit design, layout and optimisation, specifically for low signal amplification and high-performance closed loop systems.
Digital signal processing, including an excellent understanding and application of sampling theory, noise reduction, filtering and digital signal conditioning
VHDL (less important)and low-level programming in C and assembler – useful
EMC / compliance testing
