About the role and school
We are currently recruiting Supply Teachers to work across a range of primary schools throughout East London from September. This Supply Teacher opportunity is ideal for teachers looking for flexibility, variety and the ability to choose the type of work that suits them.
As a Supply Teacher, you could work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in a variety of welcoming schools, with opportunities ranging from daily supply to short-term and longer-term placements. You will be supported by the Teach Plus team throughout your assignments.
This Supply Teacher role is particularly suited to teachers who want greater control over their working week, are looking to experience different school environments or are considering a longer-term position.
Job Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons as a Supply Teacher
Follow school policies, routines and lesson plans
Maintain positive behaviour and high expectations
Adapt quickly to different schools and year groups
Support pupils to remain engaged and focused
Provide continuity of learning during teacher absence
Qualifications/Experience
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Previous primary teaching experience is desirable
Strong classroom management skills
Flexible and adaptable approach
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
Right to work in the UK

We are seeking qualified teachers (holding QTS or equivalent) who are dedicated to enriching London classrooms on an ad-hoc basis. You should:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an internationally recognised teaching qualification
