About the role/schoolWe are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Newham to recruit a dedicated Reception Teaching Assistant starting in February. This role involves supporting a number of pupils with additional needs, including ASD and ADHD, within the Early Years classroom.

Job Responsibilities
Support Reception pupils with their learning, development, and wellbeing.
Work with children with ASD and ADHD, using tailored strategies to support their needs.
Assist pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis as required.
Support the class teacher with daily routines, learning activities, and classroom organisation.
Encourage positive behaviour, communication, and independence.
Help create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications/Experience
Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
Experience supporting pupils with additional needs, particularly ASD and ADHD.
A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach.
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
Right to work in the UK.
